TGS HOLDS OPEN HOUSE TO SHOWCASE CNC CENTERLESS GRINDER

Total Grinding Solutions (TGS) held an open house in mid-August to introduce its new TGS-CL-6020 centerless grinder.

Attendees from across the U.S. had the opportunity to witness machine demos and learn about the latest advancements in centerless grinding technology. Complementing the event were technical sessions led by recognized grinding industry experts, Dr. Michael Hitchiner and John Hasz. An evening networking event provided manufacturing personnel with the chance to interact with peers and grinding experts.

“We were very excited to show off our new grinder to such a large group of manufacturing professionals,” says Chanley Chambers, TGS global sales director. “When designing this grinder, we focused on features that would allow our customers to meet tighter and tighter tolerances and maintain reliability. The positive reaction we received from customers makes us believe that we ‘hit the nail on the head.’”

TGS’ new CNC centerless grinder is configured for both thru-feed and in-feed grinding and can handle even the highest volume production runs with extreme accuracy and consistency. The TGS-CL-6020 is designed for large-batch production with short setup times and is able to handle a variety of applications industry-wide. The TGS-CL-6020 performs efficiently in the roughest production environments and is designed for many years of uninterrupted service.
